What stays in your browser
- The automatic class suggestion runs in your browser, so your description is not sent while you type.
- A tagline is compared in the browser only on the demo register. It is not sent to any register.
- The report and PDF are created in your browser. We do not keep a copy of them.
Legal bases
- Performing the service you request, GDPR Article 6(1)(b): searches, sign-in, reports and registration requests.
- Legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f): preventing abuse of the free search and keeping the service secure.
- Consent, Article 6(1)(a): remembering your language and theme. You can withdraw it at any time in Cookie settings.
Recipients
We use these categories of service providers: cloud hosting, the database and sign-in provider of markatregtare.com, and the AI Gateway for logo and class features. The markatregtare.com database is hosted in the European Union.
Search terms are also sent to the public trademark offices you search through this service: EUIPO and the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property. We do not sell personal data and we show no advertising.
How long we keep data
- Free search log with hashed identifiers: 12 months.
- Registration requests without an accepted offer: 24 months after the last change.
- Failed sign-in attempts: 90 days.
- Search history in your markatregtare.com account: until you delete it or close the account.
- Browser storage: as listed in the Cookie Policy.
Automated assessment
The Confidence Score is calculated automatically from the similarity of signs, the relation of classes and the status of marks. It is an indication to help you decide. It does not produce legal effects and does not replace the decision of an office or a court.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent. Write to info@letrat.al. You can export your data and delete your account in your markatregtare.com settings.
You can complain to the Agency for Information and Privacy of Kosovo (aip.rks-gov.net) or to the supervisory authority in your EU Member State.

We update this policy when the service changes and show the date at the top of this page.
